Heart of Love Clinic, GuatemalaDustin’s Dream has partnered with Life of Hope Ministries to help build and fund medical clinic in the impoverished area near the city dump in Guatemala City. Plans for the clinic included three floors, with the first floor completed in March 2014. Don, Deondra and Danae Chamberlain were able to travel with a mission team from John Brown University and work in the first medical clinic, as well as attend the dedication service.
As of 2018, the clinic has three floors and currently provides general health care, physical therapy, children's therapy and early stimulation, limited dental and lab services. |

Men's Team Mission Trip Report, February 4-9, 2019
We were so thankful to partner with Dustin's Dream, and what God is doing through them in Guatemala.
While in Guatemala, we saw God work in ways we could have never imagined. We visited homes and gave them groceries from funds raised at Dustin's Heavenly Birthday Event back in December. The homes were homes of children who attend Pastor Saul's church, but parents do not attend. We were able to pray for each family and encourage them to know Jesus in a personal way. We challenged them to start attending church with their children.
We also had the opportunity to work in the medical clinic where we prayed with patients, gave them their necessary medicines, and even took their vitals.
We participated in the large group feedings that Pastor Saul's ministry hosts. I was reminded of Matthew 8:3 where Jesus touched the leper in order to heal him. Although, we did not touch lepers we were able to touch the outcast of society realizing what great love God has for all of us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us (Romans 5:8).
We got to hear about a street ministry that Dustin's Dream has recently started supporting, Time of Rescue, whose goal is to rescue those involved in gang activity. We visited a future church plant and rehab center site where the leader of that project also lost a son at a young age.
We were able to pour concrete floors in two homes for families who could not afford them.
I left Guatemala with an even greater appreciation for the sovereignty of God. He is not limited by language, culture, or income. He is calling people all over the world to accomplish His purposes. God uses people to reach people! Thank you Dustin's Dream for allowing Orchard View Church to be a small part of this HUGE blessing!
