Continuing Dustin's Legacy of Love and Service
Through the Dustin’s Dream Foundation, we desire to accomplish some of the things that Dustin passionately pursued. Dustin’s Dream will assist in building medical clinics in third world countries, and will also fund teams to conduct medical mission trips. Through scholarships, this foundation will also help students who desire to enter the medical field.
GUATEMALA MEDICAL CLINIC
Dustin’s Dream has partnered with Life of Hope Ministries to help build and fund medical clinic in the impoverished area near the city dump in Guatemala City. Plans for the clinic included three floors, with the first floor completed in March 2014. Don, Deondra and Danae Chamberlain were able to travel with a mission team from John Brown University and work in the first medical clinic, as well as attend the dedication service. The second floor was completed in January 2016 and the clinic currently provides general health care, physical therapy, limited dental and lab services. Third floor completion will help to expand these services, and hopes to begin to provide radiology services.
The Dustin Chamberlain Memorial Foundation awards scholarships to graduating students of Dustin’s alma mater, Siloam Springs High School in Siloam Springs, Arkansas, who are continuing their education in the medical field. Applicants apply through Siloam Springs High School Scholarship Office.
Dustin's Dream participated in funding an endowed scholarship in Dustin's name from Baylor University in Waco, Texas where he attended. It is awarded to college students entering the medical field.
Applicants apply through Baylor University Scholarship Department.
Our friends and family reach far and wide. The people of Siloam Springs and Northwest Arkansas, have wrapped their arms around us as God has grown this ministry to reach around the world with His love. Our desire is to also reach those nearest to us in our community who have needs and burdens of their own.
We partner with other organizations to meet the needs of our community. Each July donations will be accepted for hygiene items back to school supplies, coats, shoes, and other items to families in need. We will continue to look for opportunities to serve and give to our community each year.
